Industrial Controls Security Technician
Key Role: Serve as a part of an integrated team of engineers and Cybersecurity experts in the firm's expanding Industrial Control System (ICS) Cybersecurity team. Represent the operational and functional requirements of industrial control systems users to support the Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Support Cybersecurity risk assessments on industrial control systems and support Cybersecurity design and implementation, including monitoring solutions and performing onsite security assessments. Apply expertise to comprehending designs, protocols, and physical configurations of purpose-built systems, defining and implementing comprehensive countermeasures to detect threats, and maintaining the overall Cybersecurity posture of these systems. Conduct work that may vary across several areas of industrial controls, including water and wastewater, heating oil and natural gas, energy, fire and security alarms, lighting, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). This position requires the ability to travel based on client and project need.
Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with facilities operations and management, including HVAC, utilities, controls, or alarms -Ability to analyze and suggest recommended improvements to industrial control system programs and systems to meet industry standards and best practices -Secret clearance -BA or BS degree -Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification or ability to obtain
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NERC-CIP, NEI 08-09, or other industrial control regulations -Experience in working with the military preferred -Ability to implement Cybersecurity industrial controls -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
