DESCRIPTION:��This position serves as a Quality Assurance Specialist III for the Joint Product Manager Medical Countermeasure Systems within the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense.�Provides quality oversight of acquisition, contract, and business management support.
Specific Job Functions include:�
Function as the point of contact for quality-centric customer support activities (e.g., leading product investigations, initiating/monitoring all corrective and preventative actions, etc.).
Assist in the development and maintenance of processes and procedures that will provide product quality throughout the program lifecycle.
Initiate and coordinate data collection, create reports using the appropriate statistical methods, and provide metrics on each of the programs.
Evaluate results and focus efforts on process improvement.
Analyze and investigate quality trends or conditions, propose and assist to implement corrective actions, and monitor the corrective actions to ensure quality.
Provide advice, facilitate quality improvement, provide training, and track corrective actions.����
Coordinate (e.g., preparing and staffing agendas, etc.), participate in, and document (i.e., meeting minutes) project meetings.
Prepare briefing materials as required.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time.
Capable of establishing effective interpersonal relationships, as well as an ability to communicate efficiently, both in writing and orally.
�EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Production Management, Quality Assurance, Business Management, or a related discipline, as well as eight (8) years of general experience and five (5) years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree or professional certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing or Production Management, Quality Assurance, Business Management, or a related discipline, as well as ten (10) years of general experience and seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Possess a Six Sigma green belt certification, or its equivalent.
Possess knowledge of quality assurance/control methods, principles, and practices, including statistical analysis and sampling techniques.
Possess knowledge of the relationship of quality assurance to other activities (e.g., program management, contract administration, technical requirements, FDA regulations, etc.).
Possess demonstrated experience in conducting studies and investigations, problem analysis, and developing logical and documented recommendations.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to create documents, reports, and presentations.
Expertise in DoD Acquisition and Life-Cycle Management policies and procedures.
