Key Role: Administer and support a client infrastructure in a large organization providing optimal desktop performance to a client. Deliver expert desktop support, including software, hardware, and network installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair and replacement activities. Track and maintain computer asset inventory, create activity reports, and develop procedural documentation.
Basic Qualifications: -2+ years of experience with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving Windows 7/10 desktop operating systems, BIOS, software applications, configuration files, drivers and user profiles within an Active Directory environment issues -2+ years of experience with installing, troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving desktop hardware component issues, including drives, expansion cards, mainboards, power supplies, monitors, media converters, KVM switches, and equivalent peripheral components -Knowledge of the Active Directory Users and Computer (ADUC) administrative tool, Directory Resource Administration (DRA), remote desktop connection, WinPE, and ImageX -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -TS/SCI clearance -HS diploma or GED -Active CompTIA Security+ Certification
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Microsoft Server 2008/2012 administration tools, PowerShell, or CLI scripting -Experience with VMware Horizon View versions 6 or 7 or desktop virtualization technology -Experience with RHEL versions 6/7 -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Possession of excellent customer service and support skills -AA or AS degree or 10+ years of experience with CS or Information Systems -Active CompTIA A+ Certification -Active CompTIA Network+ Certification
