Current Operations/Defense Measures Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide direct support to meet CCMD strategic and operational level objectives as part of the JFHQ-FWD (EUCOM) staff. Coordinate with DoD EUR, JFHQ-C (AFCYBER), JFHQ-DoDIN, and other CYBERCOM components, as required. Coordinate, monitor, and assess the execution of regional DoDIN operations and provide recommendations for DCO-IDM. Maintain SA on vulnerabilities and threats to CCMD missions. Support the planning, integration, execution, and coordination of DoDIN operations and monitor and assess defensive postures for CCMD critical key terrain. Analyze after-action reports and provide lessons learned to support future TTP development. Provide recommendations to CCMD personnel to formulate effective DCO plans and strategies, including DCO-IDM.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with operational and technical military in planning, developing, coordinating, and executing United States Air Force (USAF) or other military branch

-6+ years of experience as part of a JFHQ DoDIN, AFCYBER, sister service component, or commercial DCO crew

-Experience with facilitating the dissemination and communication of technical content of operational and strategic Cyber threat assessments and products throughout the CCMD

-Experience in the packaging and dissemination of technical Cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and related products to the JFHQs-C, USCYBERCOM, JFHQ DoDIN, and threat repositories

-Knowledge of theater KCT information flow and in conjunction with co-located ISR analysts, potential adversary threats, and KCT vulnerabilities

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Completion of Undergraduate Cyber Training (UCT), Computer Defense Operations (CDO), Joint Cyberspace Analysis Course (JCAC), Cyber Ops/Civ Fundamentals Course (COFC/CFCC), Cyber Intelligence Formal Training Unit (CIFTU), or related course

-DoDI 8570 Level II Certification, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC), Operations Center (OC), or other service component operational level

-Experience with developing and deploying data driven analytics and event driven analysis

-Experience in network infrastructure, Cyberspace vulnerabilities analysis, and DCO planning support

-Knowledge of the Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), or Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
