MVM, Inc. â a leading provider of professional, technical, administrative, and program management support services to the Federal Government â is creating a pipeline of Clinicians that would be interested in provisional commitment projects anywhere in the US with other highly capable team members tasked with providing care to Unaccompanied Children (UC) in a limited duration shelter dependent on the request from The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
Clinicians conduct mental health assessments for all children in care as well as provide ongoing
individual and group counseling, screening for human trafficking concerns, and crisis intervention. They also provide post-release recommendation services to sponsors, including ongoing counseling, medication, resources, and any other pertinent or requested information.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Â· Screen for human trafficking concerns and provide crisis intervention.
Â· Conduct and document risk assessments and provide ongoing individual and group counseling.
Â· Report any issues or difficulties with unaccompanied children to the Lead Licensed Clinical Counselor.
Â· Maintain the case file in the ORR database.
Â· Masterâs degree in Social Work (MSW) or an equivalent degree in education, Psychology, Sociology or other relevant Behavioral Science;
Â· OR a bachelorâs degree in one of the aforementioned sciences, plus five (5) years of experience as the director of a licensed child care program, residential youth program, or similar program for children and adolescents.
Â· Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Â· Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Depending on the shelter location requested by ORR, MVM, Inc. may offer extended travel. Extended travel typically requires a commitment of a minimum of 30 to 90 days. Travel expenses will be paid according to Federal Travel Regulations. Locations, anywhere in United States may include, but are not limited to, New Mexico, California, Texas, and Arizona .
