The Systems Administrator will provide networking and systems design, development, implementation and maintenance. Will perform asset management and inventory of IT resources. Provide accurate system documentation to include but not limited network diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), software and hardware inventories, etc. The candidate will provide end users customer support by coordinating software, hardware, network, and security issue resolution. Document and record action on service requests and tasking in help-desk software. The candidate will perform in a team environment with other members of 452 CSWF staff to provide overall IT operations support and cyber security services to all 452 projects.
The Windows Systems Administrator will provide technical expertise support to a Department of Defense (DoD) military communications program as well as setting up and maintaining Linux-based systems or specific components of a system. Some tasks include:
+ installing, configuring, troubleshooting and updating hardware and software + establishing and managing user accounts + overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks + implementing operational and technical security controls + adhering to organizational security policy and procedures + perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
+ Demonstrate extensive experience in Windows operating system administration for Windows 7 and later, especially Windows 10 Enterprise (at least 6 years' experience) + Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft networking infrastructure including but not limited to Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, WSUS, etc. + Demonstrate professional experience in hardening Microsoft Windows systems to DoD mandated security standards. + Demonstrated experience migrating Microsoft Windows systems to DoD Secure Host Baseline (SHB) versions of Microsoft Windows. + Demonstrated experience administering HBSS (e.g. McAfee E-Policy Orchestrator [ePO], Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), and ACAS) + Experience planning and implementing enterprise systems backups and creating system images. + Demonstrate professional experience maintaining a network/operational environment (at least 6 years' experience) + Demonstrated experience in dual-boot and virtualized environments. + Demonstrate working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST 800-53 security controls.
+ Minimum of TS/SSBI security clearance or ability to receive it within 6 months of hiring. + Must meet DoD IAT level II compliance (Security +CE) + Certification in Microsoft Windows 7 Client or later (MCITP) or equivalent.
