Advanced Computing Group Section Lead Intelligent Adaptive Software (IAS)
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced technical manager to serve as Section Lead for our advanced computing group. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of the Intelligent Adaptive Software (IAS) Directorate and will work closely with the Director to lead, manage, and run the group. You will lead the group in programs spanning research thrusts such as high assurance computing, programming languages, formal methods, computer architecture, RISC-V secure computer architectures, software/system composition, explainable software, self-aware adaptive software, and other foundational technologies that enable next-generation autonomy. The goal of the group is to build the next-generation computing systems with new levels of flexibility, robustness, synthesis, adaptation, and self-protection. These technical advances enable the IAS Directorate to build first-of-its-kind systems that are autonomous, adaptive, and resilient, for example, prototyping a novel computing platform for tomorrow's autonomous systems.
