Support the ICBM Systems Directorate (SD) in maintaining its nuclear weapon system surety program in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) requirements. Must be familiar with Nuclear Certification Impact Statements (NCIS); Certification Requirements Plan (CRP); Nuclear Certification Plan (NCP); Nuclear Surety Evaluation (NSE) report; Fault Tree Analysis; Probabilistic Risk Assessment; Unauthorized Launch Studies; Launch Action Studies; Briefing Materials (Nuclear Surety Briefings, Point Papers and White Papers); Safety & Nuclear Surety Technical Memorandum; Assessments of Subsystem Contractor Deliverables; and source data to ICBM Technical Orders and Operational certification/decertification (OPCERT/DECERT) Technical Orders procedures for ICBM Nuclear Critical Components according to Technical Manual Contract Requirements. Must be familiar with Air Force implementation of DoD requirements as described in AFPD 91-1. Must be disciplined in the area of nuclear certifications in engineering, design, and test validation/verification procedures to include impact statements as applicable. Requires cooperation and coordination with government to support and assist the ICBMSD in maintaining the nuclear certification program and preserving the nuclear certification of MMIII. The nuclear certification program shall be in accordance with AFI 63-125. Applicable certification criteria shall be derived for new or modified ICBM hardware and software components, subsystems and systems, support equipment, facilities, and special test and maintenance programs. Assist the Government in their efforts to review and document items affected by nuclear hardness and nuclear surety.
• Experience with Solid works 3D CAD, Cameo Systems Modeler, Primavera and Microsoft Office Suite.
• BS degree in physics, engineering, or mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of comparable experience
• Must have a secret clearance and be eligible for Top Secret with SCI.
