URS/AECOM has an opening for a Stock Clerk AA&E (Arms, Ammunition and Explosives) in Qatar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Shop Supply Supervisor, responsible for processing supply transactions for Class II, III, IIIP, IV and Class IX items, using updated Maintenance Workbench computer system and software. Crosschecks Authorized Stockade List (ASL) to determine the most suitable choice of NSN to requisition an item. Checks requests from the shop sections to ensure correct NSN is used and monitors for excessive quantities. Research and coordinate with vendors for local purchase request. Coordinate with Item Manager for expedition of repair parts. Issues bench stock replenishment listings and initiates requisition action after Supervisor’s review. Utilizes Fed Log and AMDE to research information for required parts requests. Under the supervision of the Supervisor, the incumbent operates heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, wheel tractors, off-highway trucks, and RTCH; perform generalized maintenance and safety checks on equipment and minor repairs; upload and download supplies, equipment, and ISO containers and flat racks; conducts inventory of all classes of supply and prepares cargo for movement, block and brace to secure loads prior to movement. Perform MHE support for disposal of unserviceable equipment and supplies not economically repairable. Conduct PMCS and operator vehicle and equipment checks using the appropriate forms (DA Form 461-5 and DA Form 2404). Other duties as directed.
High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
4 years related experience and/or training with an arms, ammunition and explosives background; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Active Secret clearance.
U.S. Citizenship and have a U.S. passport.
Specialized Knowledge Required
Must be able to operate heavy equipment and Material Handling Equipment safely and perform minor repairs.
Ability to analyze and interpret US Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Possess the ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during a 48 hour work week.
Must be able to lift 30 Lbs. continuously, 50 Lbs intermittently.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must have a high level of understanding of office procedures.
Must have a general understanding of military and government contracting terminology.
Must have a general understanding of basic business practices.
Must have the ability to understand basic bookkeeping.
Must have the ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels [to include multinational staff, superiors, and military officers.
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
Must have advanced proficiency in MSWord, Excel, and Outlook applications.
Must have demonstrated ability to communicate in oral and written English with an advanced skill- level and including business writing.
Driver’s license may be required.
