Sr PKI Engineer
Required: Ability to acquire and maintain DOE Q level clearance.

Primary Duties
Configure, maintain and administer applications running on Linux and Windows server operating system.
Inspect operational status of servers and applications. Perform troubleshooting and correct anomalies and warning conditions.
Be responsible for patch management, security compliance, backups, restores and vulnerability patching of servers and applications.
Plan and direct upgrades and enhancements to operating systems and application servers.
Identify information security risks. Contribute to mitigation plans and risk acceptance documents.
Assist in the development and implementation of new PKI, MFA, and Identity Management services.
Participate in projects and technical working groups.
Perform detailed problem analysis following service interruptions and implement changes to prevent recurrence.
Develop and maintain/update standard operating procedures.
Maintain progress reports for active projects as well as weekly & monthly status reports on activities and accomplishments.
Remediates assigned Tier 3 incidents or service requests; account management skills for open/close of user accounts for multiple systems, systems administration and Active Directory working knowledge.

Skills Required
Experience managing and supporting Applications in the areas of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Multifactor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Management solutions Knowledge with PKI technologies and solutions: Certification Authorities, Two-Factor Authentication, MFA, LDAP Directories, OCSP, ICAM and the standards relating to them Knowledge of and experience working in a large federal IT infrastructure.
Ability to perform complex, cross-platform, problem solving tasks.
Capable of learning new technologies and products quickly.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills.

Skills Preferred
Knowledge with triple AAA protocols
Knowledge with access control methods
Holistic understanding of IdM processes and technologies Experience working within a large federal IT infrastructure.
Experience with Linux and Windows server administration Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills
Identifying and implementing security and performance improvements for applications and servers.
