We are seeking an Engineer / Scientist / Technical Analyst I in Huntsville, AL to join our team. The MDDC Program is responsible for test product data management across MDA, including data center operations, support of test design, planning, and products, and analysis infrastructure operations for the BMDS Test Program. The MDDC Program will improve and/or advance areas of integration, process improvement, development, and lean execution in order to succeed within a challenging and dynamic test environment.
Supports MDA ground and/or flight test mission events at multiple test ranges, mobile assets, and command centers located across the country and overseas.
Provides expert engineering and/or scientific solutions for highly complex technical and scientific matters related to data collection, transfer, and real-time presentation.
Provides technical support to field engineers and customers who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging telemetry and data transfer systems.
Provides system design supporting all aspects of planning, engineering, integration, development, and testing.
Maintains a strong knowledge of missile defense requirements and provides expertise on missile defense ground and flight test systems.
Designs, develops, and implements complex hardware, software and database applications or advanced techniques in investigating solutions to system requirements and problems.
Develops, plans, coordinates and integrates systems-related requirements to support operational needs and makes recommendations based on findings.
Develops and coordinates contract deliverables and reports.
Provides input to management plans and reports.
Leads junior team members in completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order review, and briefings and presentations.
Develop, gather and organize mission data and system related information.
Analyze and format information developed and used to evaluate the system under test.
Develop, plan, coordinate and integrate system related requirements to support operational needs. Conducts studies, technical assessments, system analysis and architectural level analysis to determine system performance and effectiveness.
Performs work in which the principles, theories and general body of knowledge of telemetry, networking, and other engineering discipline is required.
May formulate and use mathematical models or representations to conduct analysis.
Ability to deploy to remote locations, CONUS and OCONUS, for extended durations.
Travel: Up to 40%
Has a B.S. Degree and 2 years of experience.
