ASRC Federal is seeking a Contracts Manager in our office in Huntsville, AL to support on-going federal government programs. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Contracts and is expected to take on a leading role in our company's Huntsville operations and beyond.
Lead role managing the IS&T group's Defense portfolio of key contracts to include a number of major, high-visibility programs of key strategic importance to the company. The Contracts Manager ensures compliance with contracts policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and functional performance standards to facilitate effective implementation within program objectives and requirements. Counsels and serves as main resource on all matters of a prime contractual nature on assigned programs. Key member of proposal teams; develops questions and negotiation strategies, authors OCI plans, small business subcontracting plans, and other proposal sections as required. Represents the company in matters of contract, pricing, or performance reviews as may be conducted by agencies of the federal government. Coordinates closely with Subcontracts Manager to ensure subcontracting activities are carried out in a manner consistent with prime contract requirements and operational objectives. Ability to foster collaborative working relationship with a wide range of stakeholders to include Operations, Program Control, Pricing, BD/Capture, Procurement, HR, Contracting Officers and CORs is critical. The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Division Vice President and all members of the operations and functional support teams to achieve the company's objectives.
