Description Northrop Grumman's Manned Aircraft Design Center of Excellence located in Melbourne Florida has an immediate opening for an experienced engineer specializing in creating and interpreting aircraft fluid subsystem analysis products. These subsystems include, but are not limited to, Environmental Control Systems, Fuel Systems, and Hydraulic Systems. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, modify, trouble-shoot and validate aircraft subsystem performance simulation models related to gas and liquid based systems. This role requires an individual with demonstrated team leadership abilities, as well as the ability to perform the aforementioned subsystem analysis. This position will be permanently located in Melbourne, FL. Some travel is required. MELENG


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years' experience (3 years with a Master's degree) directly related to aircraft fluid subsystem development and analysis, as well as proven engineering team leadership capabilities. Experience with AMESim, MATLAB/Simulink, NX Thermal, Thermal Desktop, or industry equivalent is required. Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications plus a Master of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or Technical Management, or an MBA, as well as proven supplier management skills and significant AMESim experience in an aircraft subsystem development environment.
