DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Designs and establishes configuration management documentation. May act as a liaison between Program Management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding configuration analysis documentation. Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. Supports the operation of a Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) system to perform the engineering change review and approval process. Includes processing Problem Reports (PRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), assist CCB Chair in preparing agendas, administrative, technical and CM reviews of engineering documents, Bill of Materials, and other baseline work products.
Bachelor's Degree (technical discipline preferred) or 10+ years of experience in Configuration Management and engineering change management.
NDIA Configuration Data Management (CDM) Certification
4 years of progressive experience with DoD or IC configuration management
Ability to apply configuration management principles in both development and production environments
Demonstrated understanding of EIA 649 standard
Conduct and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) to manage changes to hardware and software baselines.
Complete configuration identification, configuration status accounting (CSA), change control and configuration audits, deficiency reporting, data management, and engineering data managementSupport Engineering Data Management (EDM) US Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret/ Special Compartmented Intelligence (TS/SCI) Clearance to comply with US Government contracts
