ASRC Federal, Mission Solutions (AFMS) is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.
AFMS is looking for qualified Logisticians with Provisioning experience in the Department of Defense Domain to support the following items:
Utilization/Review of existing Provisioning Technical Documentation to include Engineering Drawings, Part lists, and Change Requests(CRs)
Incorporation of CRs, Design Change Notices, and Engineering Change Proposals
Development of Spares Candidate lists
The candidate shall collect and organize information required for the preparation of Provisioning Technical Documentation, while having a working knowledge of engineering and government logistics databases. The candidate will be experienced in the development and maintenance of configuration hierarchical structured Provisioning Parts Lists, the review of Engineering Change Requests, and the preparation of configuration Design Change Notices. The candidate will be well versed and have hands on experience with the documentation requirements of MIL-STD-1552-2B, MIL-STD-1388-2B, MIL-PRF-49506 and GEIA-STD 0007 Logistics Data Products supporting AEGIS baselines.
Provides support to management, customers, and sub-contractors with logistics technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment and systems. Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, and related information to identify and document maintenance and support requirements. Reviews engineering designs and analyzes equipment characteristics. Develops and prepares manuals, bulletins, and information systems to provide logistics support.
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and minimum of two years of experience. A secret clearance is required.
