Sentar is hiring a Cyber Network Defense professional at Scott AFB, IL, to support USTRANSCOM.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Provide analysis of potential vulnerabilities and required mitigations as needed to protect and defend USTRANSCOM key cyber terrain and systems

-Support the operations, sustainment, equipment custodian responsibilities for GFE, and systems administration of government furnished scanning systems at Scott AFB, IL; Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC)--St. Louis, MO; and Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC)--Norfolk, VA

-Assess the effectiveness of the total system security and make mitigation recommendations to Government based on these reviews

-Perform special security audits of key cyber terrain/systems as requested by the government, including assessments of systems based on specific risk conditions or command interest, and will typically involve scanning and on-system measurements of the compliance status of the system

-Support assets residing within USTRANSCOM physical and virtual enclaves located at Scott AFB, IL; Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC)--St. Louis, MO; and Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC)--Norfolk, VA, O'Fallon, IL and Fairview Heights, IL

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or a total of 6 years of related experience

-IAT Level 3 Certification

-The minimum of a Secret level DoD Security Clearance is required

-Excellent communications skills and ability to work in a team environment

-Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with some occasional "on call" demands

-Overtime is very minimal, but important when required

-Experience with the following tools a plus: Checkpoint; Palo Alto

-Experience with Linux preferred
