The Electronic Systems segment of Harris Corporation in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Price/Cost Analyst to support their programs and products business. Analyst supports proposal activity and Global Supply Chain subcontract execution. The analyst will use industry techniques/ practices to conduct fact-finding, establish fair and reasonable cost analysis positions/negotiation ranges and support procurement in negotiations with subcontractors, as required.
Conducts fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and development of cost key performance indicator metrics.
Analyst will review, comprehensively, all elements of cost including direct labor, material, ODC and indirect costs in ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, GAP and Harris procedures.
Supports price negotiations held with supply base.
Supports and approves Supplier TINA Cost/Price analysis.
Uses industry techniques and practices to establish fair and reasonable pricing positions, best value determinations and economic order strategies.
Utilizes expertise of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) supplements, with a strong working knowledge of FAR Part 15.
Development and analysis training of all levels of professional procurement staff.
Utilizes analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings.
Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Utilizes MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel).
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
8+ years’ experience in supporting contract proposals including direct labor and materials costs in compliance with government (DCMA) regulations including TINA.
Secret level clearance or ability to attain clearance.
