The candidate will support a high-profile and high visibility effort for the Department of Navy. Specifically, the candidate will support Navy Information Forces Command and work to resolve longstanding issues and challenges across the shore telecommunication station community. Efforts will include, but are not limited to shore station service and capability analysis, business process re-engineering, gap analyses, transition plan strategy development and implementation, governance, and maturity escalation initiatives.
The candidate will be primarily responsible for linking shore C5I/telecommunication station Mission, Functions, and Tasks (MFTs) to assets, equipment, personnel, lines of funding, and associated capabilities and services. The candidate, during and following establishment of these linkages, is responsible for conducting cause-and-effect analyses to determine the impact to supported operational commanders if any shore assets were to fail or be compromised. The linkages will also serve to support an automated Infrastructure Management Solution (IMS) so the candidate may potentially be involved in some liaison support between a requirements/design team and the task mentioned within this job summary.
