* Be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that seeks to identify operational user needs and design and build solutions for users who work in fast paced, high performance environments * Contribute to planning and execution of user inquiry and evaluation activities, particularly for users that are hard to access or have limited connectivity * Design and prototype user interfaces, including wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes * Present to customers & other stakeholders * Elicit project requirements from customers, users, and stakeholders * Innovate on inquiry and evaluation methods in order to design for both user preference and performance * Execute as part of an Agile team, planning research and design in an iterative rather than waterfall fashion
* Masters or Bachelors plus 5 years work experience in a human-centered and design focused field, including but not limited to: Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or other applicable field * Professional skills with modern design and prototyping tools, such as: Adobe Creative Suites, Sketch, and Axure * Collaborative and self-motivated * Experience working in a multi-person, user-centered team * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral * Desire & willingness to work on hard problems for users in the Government and DoD communities * Desire to lead user-centered teams of 2-4 people * Desire to collaborate closely and innovate with other human-centered disciplines, including Human Factors, Human-Robot Interaction, and Cognitive Engineering
