Contract Job Title: Human Resource Specialist
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance
Location: Reston, VA
Reports to: Team Lead
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Fulltime, Regular

Summary: The Human Resource Specialist will provide mission support to the Defense
Intelligence Agency’s Central Processing Center requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Frequent communication with candidates to provide required documentation
• Travel support to include, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrative responsibilities
• Maintain consistent contact with candidates and customer to manage process expectations
• Final collection and review of candidate documentation, including SF86
• Scanning of hard copy files into digital files
• Transfer of scanned files into DIA security database
• Notification of Security office to transfer files
• Update DIA Human Resources Management System (myHR) to ensure candidates
processing status is available for reporting
• In coordination with the Office of Security, scheduled Security Interview, and
Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph testing for incoming candidates
• Schedule Psychological examinations and Psychological interviews for incoming
• Update myHR with milestones or staffing gates in-processing dates, to include any required
• Assist with on-site applicants processing that includes, but is not limited to, updating the
SF86, obtaining applicant’s fingerprints, and proctoring and scoring Psychological tests
• Monitor weekly and monthly performance reports to measure progress, identify milestones
and to manage Central Processing Center in-processing volumes
• When required, initiate candidates’ application request for security clearance (eQIP or
similar) and provide troubleshooting support
• Develop and/or maintain standard operating procedures to document CPC administrative
requirements (OHR & security documents) and on-site pre-employment processes (update
SF86’s, applicant’s fingerprints, and proctoring and scoring Psychological tests) for
external applicant’s, military and contractors
• Frequent coordination with drug testing
• Invitational Travel Orders and processing and travel related services. These travel orders
are used for new applications and include Temporary Duty (TDY) arrangements
Non-Essential Duties:
• Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the customer/contract

Minimum Qualifications:
• Associates Degree
• Minimum of two years of related experience in Human Resources and/or PCS experience
• Active Top Secret Clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and writing in a logical, coherent manner as
well as interpret and apply administrative guidelines and regulations; to interact with
Work Environment:
• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an
employee encounters while preforming the essential functions of this job.
• The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with
frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
