CSRA provides technical support services to the Office of Acquisition (OA) of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the nation-s largest law enforcement agency. Experienced CSRA personnel enhance CBP-s proficiencies in Systems Engineering, Logistics & Sustainment, and Capabilities and Requirements Development to provide CBP-s agents along our borders with the most capable systems which can affordably be procured. The team provides engineering and analytical expertise across a wide range of disciplines, meeting all DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle mandated planning analysis and documentation; provide a full spectrum of Integrated Logistics Support; development of Operational Requirements; and conduct Operational Test & Evaluation activities. We help CBP procure the equipment and technology needed to keep the border safe and secure.
Currently, we are seeking a Risk Analyst in Crystal City, VA to join our Systems Engineering team and support the Senior Risk Management Lead to provide engineering risk analysis. The selected candidate must currently hold or be able to obtain a CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance, per contract requirements.
So what is required of a Risk Analyst on a day to day basis? There are quite a myriad of tasks and responsibilities, such as:
* Applying application patches and updates * Working with DBAs to update SQL passwords every 90 days * Maintaining the ARM system configuration * Maintaining ARM configuration documentation * Maintaining the ARM resource pool * Assigning, reassigning and removing licenses and group access * Assisting with maintaining the Risk Mgt Community of Practice SharePoint site and its content * Writing custom reports using ARM Risk Performance Manager models and/or SQL code * Identifying hazards for evaluation and manage to ensure minimization of exposures and reduction of risks to the public, environment, and government assets * Perform risk analysis to provide CBP management with an evaluation of actions needed to comply with CBP programs, policies, and procedures * Validate that process risk related audit action items have been suitably addressed; ensure adequate supporting documentation is submitted for closure * Support component process risk recordation for new acquisitions to provide CBP management with an assessment of the border security systems, level of service of existing technology and equipment, regulatory compliance, quality of process safety programs, and identification of significant risks to stakeholders

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
* Must be a US citizen * US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) suitability clearance (or ability to obtain) * 2-5 years- experience in the field of Risk Management * 4-year B.A. or B.S. degree * Hands-on DBA-level experience with SQL Server 2014 and Windows Server 2012 R2
Other qualifications include:
* Experience with web-based applications administration in general, and with ARM in particular; * Experience maintaining SharePoint 2013 sites; * Experience with SSRS and Report Builder or other SQL-based report writing tools, including MS Access
