Under the general guidance of the Director, Financial/Operational Audit:
Lead, coordinate, mentor, and oversee the activities of the audit team.
Continuously perform risk assessment activities to ensure the most critical risks to the Company are being reviewed by audit.
Continuously communicate and collaborate with business partners to ensure Internal Audit is abreast of most critical risks and is providing value to business partners.
Help determine audit scope and direction, develop audit programs and budget estimates, and perform walk through and test procedures to analyze key process and controls.
Effectively interact with and communicate results to auditees, audit management, business unit management and corporate executive management.
Perform special projects or reviews, as assigned.
Travel up to 25% including some international locations.
10+ years total experience ideally with the following:
Prior public accounting experience either in risk advisory or assurance.
Prior internal audit experience in a publicly traded company.
Experience implementing or assessing effectiveness of SOX requirements.
Experience performing risk assessment activities and planning, executing and reporting internal audit projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Industry internal audit experience
Strong understanding of business process risks and internal controls.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience leading financial audits and working knowledge of SOX requirements.
