Job Description
Ki Ho Military Acquisition Consulting, Inc. (KIHOMAC) is seeking electrical engineers to support the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) on the Electrical Systems Engineering Services (ESES) III contract. The principal purpose of this contract is to provide electrical/electronic engineering support services and related work to AETD organizations, as required, for the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of space flight, airborne, and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions.

Education/Training:


* Bachelors Degree in Engineering (required)

Experience:


* 3+ years of demonstrated experience and expertise performing the same or similar tasks required of the position

* Engineering experience supporting NASA desired

* Engineering experience supporting NASA at GFSC AETD is highly desired

Security:


* Must be a US citizen

* SECRET level security clearance required

Expertise and Functions

* Work will be performed in Greenbelt, MD area

* Systems Engineering experience in study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification of electrical / electronic systems

* Experience in space flight subsystems, space flight instruments, and space related ground systems

* Experience can include digital, analog, and mixed signal microcircuits and semiconductors

* Experience in system design, analysis, test, and research in RF

* Perform technical analysis for subsystem components and/or software, component validation/verification, risk analyses and assessments of component supportability and design effectiveness in the context of subsystem or other derived requirements

* Apply specialized knowledge to resolve design issues that have an impact to subsystem or task area

* Perform analyses for one or more subsystem components to include design, fabrication, test, integration, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

* Ensure the logical and systematic derivation of component and associated interface requirements into design solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; identify and quantify associated risks

* Perform functional analysis, detailed trade studies at the component or piece-part level, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate component requirements into hardware and/or software specification

* Other duties as assigned
