Job Description
Ki Ho Military Acquisition Consulting, Inc. (KIHOMAC) is seeking electrical engineering technicians to support the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) on the Electrical Systems Engineering Services (ESES) III contract. The principal purpose of this contract is to provide electrical/electronic engineering support services and related work to AETD organizations, as required, for the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of space flight, airborne, and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions.

* Education/Training (both required and desired):
+ High School diploma required
+ Associates Degree in technical discipline desired

* Experience:
+ 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area
+ NASA experience desired
+ Experience supporting NASA at GFSC AETD highly desired

* Security:
+ Must be a US citizen
+ SECRET security clearance level required

Expertise and Functions

* Experience supporting complex engineering design, analysis, development, test, and research in respective discipline

* Assemble flight and ground support components using electronic test equipment and hand tools, following blueprints, wiring, diagrams, and manufacturing standards

* Assemble components such as transformers, switches, jacks, terminals, and circuit boards to panel or chassis using hand tools

* Connect lead wires of components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, and diodes to specified terminals, using soldering iron or spot welders

* Route and fasten precut jumper wire and cables to specified contact points following wiring diagrams and wire lists to form circuit wiring

* Work within a multi-discipline environment to support system & subsystem development and/or software, component validation/verification, risk analyses and assessments of component supportability and design effectives in the context of subsystem or other derived requirements

* Apply focused or specialized knowledge to resolve issues that have an impact to subsystem or task area

* Other duties as assigned
