Job Description: 
  • Build and maintain a public safety market customer council
  • Coordinate all communications with the council via
    • Email
    • Telephone
    • Virtual
    • Face to face meetings
    • Garner and consolidate improvement feedback for
      • Processes / Operations
      • Roadmap cadence
      • Future products / solutions
      • Value innovation
      • Navigate through various, and sometimes conflicting, demands and complaints to determine most viable and marketable product / solution needs
      • Balance between customer wants and business requirements
      • Present findings to senior management
      • Provide training of best practices to various internal departments
      • Collaboration with PLMs on future products / solutions
      • Strategic partner of the Customer and Market Engagement (CME) Director


Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in Government and Public Safety business
  • Experience with Public Safety communication operations
  • Minimum 10 year experience in customer facing positions
  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field or equivalent
  • Membership in APCO/NENA/IACP/NSA/NOBLE/IAFC or equivalent
  • Overnight travel of 50% or more
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experienced in CRM tools, specifically Microsoft Dynamic
  • Experienced in working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Programs, Field Services)
  • Able to report progress to Senior Leadership on a regular basis
