This position is a key position leading a team on a major program supporting aerostat systems both CONUS and OCONUS and shall monitor PD Aerostats inventory using Government inventory management systems. This position shall assist the Government in initiating, editing, and processing requisitions for Government inventory; updating associated asset visibility tracking systems; furnishing supply status; identifying problems with inventory management systems; and providing recommendations for disposition of Government property. This position shall coordinate the use military standard requisitioning and issue procedures (MILSTRIP) process to procure Government provided critical support assets for use by the PD Aerostats contractors. This position shall coordinate to obtain strategic logistic support using the Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES) integrated database. This position shall coordinate with the DLA-E for bulk helium procurement for PD Aerostats systems. This position shall assist the Government in conducting property inventories and preparing hand receipts for Government approval. This position shall assist the Government in establishing Department of Defense Activity Address Codes (DODAACs) for PD Aerostats designated locations. This position shall assist the Government in performing data entry and maintaining data in the following systems (property book unit supply enhanced (PBUSE), defense property accounting system (DPAS), logistics modernization program (LMP), and Repair Data) to account for all program of record (POR) systems and PD Aerostats' requested secondary items.
* Five (5) years of experience with military logistics efforts. * Utilize joint logistics procedures, processes, and regulations. * Analyze aerostat helium use data, forecasting requirements, and navigating the Defense Logistics Agency - Energy (DLA-E) polices to obtain helium support.
* 10 years of experience with military logistics efforts * Three (3) plus working with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length. * Experience preparing documentation for the Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES) database.
