TITLE: Operations Specialist (OS)
LOCATION: Ashburn, VA
DURATION: 6 months contract
TRAVEL: < 25%
SCHEDULE: Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends and multiple shift options
MVM, Inc. is seeking a qualified Operations Specialist who will retrieve information as needed, coordinate with QC Manager on quality assurance/control issues, evaluate current processes for effectiveness, timeliness, success with performance outcomes and providing technical assistance as needed. The Operations Specialist must have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Receive notification from the client of a minor’s enrollment in the follow-up quality control program.
Conduct searches using multiple search engines or United States Postal Service to verify accuracy of information given.
Assist the management team in developing and continuously reviewing/updating QC/QA procedures.
Review and analyze cases, identify barriers and recommend action necessary of unrelated minors sharing the same address or a sponsor with multiple unrelated minors among program participants within the same region.
Assist in conducting telephonic interviews.
Notify the client if MVM is unable to contact sponsor and/or minor after multiple attempts.
Maintain quality control files.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree; or a minimum of one year of professional experience.
Ability to show near native proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in English and Spanis
Strong report writing and organizational skills
Experience with coordinating and scheduling
Valid driver's License, clean driving record
Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Availability to travel within the United States
Have investigative and report writing experience
Ability to interpret statutes, policies, contracts, and administrative rule requirements as related to program area.
Organized, detail oriented individual able to work independently, make appropriate decisions and judgments as related to assessments, services and recommendations on cases.
Strong telephonic skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask in several projects
Excels at using quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
Experience with juvenile detention or rehabilitation or working with minors/youth
Computer experience in a Windows environment, Microsoft Office (Excel, WORD, ACCESS), ability to learn and utilize other software programs.

Must have lived in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years
