Program: The Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS) requires Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the entire family of PM CCS programs that are currently known, including Culvert Denial, Entry Control Point, Fido, Goldie, Home Station Training Lanes, Jackal, Lightguard, Rhino, Schonstedt, Sherlock, Spider, Husky Mounted Detection System (HMDS) (including Surrogate), Gizmo, the Minehound, and the Army-Navy/Portable Special Search (AN/PSS)-14.
Major support areas include system integration/installation, fielding, retrograde, transportation, training, documentation updates, customer support, inspection and maintenance (defined as repair, rebuild, parts replacement, and troubleshooting) as applied to hardware, software, firmware and logistics support, and the associated support tasks such as program management, administration support, inventory management, quality management and interface with other Government and Contractor personnel.
Supervises activities associated with the development and execution of maintenance plans with responsibility for analysis and resolution of problems requiring an advanced level of expertise, and performs these operations with minimal direction and supervision. Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction by quality on-time performance of the team. Perform Electromechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on DoD systems in Afghanistan or Kuwait, often under field conditions. Utilize mechanical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams to perform system diagnostics and fault isolation to root cause failures. Travel to DoD sites to respond to calls for corrective maintenance: perform scheduled maintenance and upkeep of systems. Conduct training for designated personnel.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience and Dod. For personnel designated as an Army certified instructor, conduct training to designated personnel. This means that individual will be “dual-hatted” and must also conduct training in addition to maintenance.
