Engility is seeking an experienced Recruiter to drive full life cycle recruiting support for the Federal Civilian and International Group. The successful candidate will hit the ground running and readily engage to identify viable candidates, assess areas in need of strengthening/further development and provide the necessary guidance, coaching and support to hiring managers to meet hiring objectives. The Recruiter will have a strong working knowledge of the industry and skill sets recruited. This individual will be looked upon to partner with hiring managers, align with business strategies and effectively strategize recruiting efforts.

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with program and hiring managers to understand current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Engage in "out of the box" thinking to identify and attract candidates, utilizing various sourcing strategies proven effective in a competitive industry.
  • Prescreen candidates, provide candidate summaries to hiring managers, coordinate and follow up on interviews and lead remaining hiring/closing efforts.
  • Develop a win-win approach as it relates to Hiring Managers and candidates.
  • Continuously monitor recruiting activity to assess your effectiveness and adjust sails if/as needed.
  • Manage and update candidate activity in an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Follow up with and address candidate questions throughout the process.
  • Represent Engility at Career and Hiring events.
  • Update report of weekly candidate activity; provide input for other reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6-9 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring candidates in a competitive industry
  • Strong relationship building skills, ability to multitask and effectively support multiple Hiring Managers at various levels
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Understanding of SOX, OFCCP and Affirmative Action processes and guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with teams in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Effective networking, interviewing, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be within the Northern Virginia, DC/Metro area
  • Experience working on DHS, VA, DoD, or other federal civilian agencies is preferred.
