Altamira is seeking experienced analysts to support the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II (ATEP II) effort currently underway at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). We are seeking a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Analyst who will:
* Provide GEOINT analysis with an understanding of intelligence requirements, issues and challenges faced by USAFE-AFAFRICA, PACAF, AFCENT, AFSOC, AFSPACE, and their Combatant Command of assignment, in the planning and execution of air and space operations. * Exploit and analyze EO, TIR, SAR, MSI/HSI, and FMV/WAAS for inclusion in Multi-INT assessments * Construct analytic approach for each Request for Information (RFI) assigned to the GEOINT analyst * Identify and collaborate with appropriate NASIC system, campaign, forces and ISR sensor SMEs; coordinate required support from appropriate entities; determine quantity/quality of relevant data available for analysis; recommend collection requirements to mitigate data deficits; spatially and temporally correlate data; participate in initial/mid/final progress reviews for each RFI; apply analytic standards; and make assessments * Maintain analyst proficiency while developing new ways to better meet customer needs * Identify Key Intelligence Questions in collection requirements before tailoring PIR products * Work with Principle Intelligence Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to resolve anomalies in analysis assessment efforts to provide thorough understanding to national analysts and Air Component or Combatant Command leadership
This position: * Requires experience supporting USAFEAFAFRICA, PACAF, AFCENT, AFSPACE, or AFSOC providing predictive, actionable intelligence; planning, executing, and assessing ISR operations; or conducting targeting activities in an Air Force Air and Space ISR organization, such as an Air Force Major Command (MAJCOM) A2 Directorate, a Numbered Air Force (NAF) A2 Directorate, an Air Operations Center ISR Division (AOC IRD), the AF Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS); an AF ISR collection platform (RC-135, E-8, RQ-4, U-2, MQ-1/9, MC-12) or wing/squadron-level element supporting Mobility Air Forces, (MAF), Combat Air Forces (CAF), or Air Force Special Operation Forces (AFSOF). * Experience with intelligence tools and applications such as, but not limited to, Experience with intelligence tools and applications, such as, but not limited to, SOCET GXP-, RemoteView-, ENVI/FSTK, OPTICS, AGI-TK. * Requires that the successful candidate be able to pass specific customer certification programs * Strongly desired four or more years' experience * Demonstrated knowledge of remote sensing principals and applications * Demonstrated knowledge with campaign and forces analysis, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) sensor expertise * Demonstrated knowledge with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and NGA production * Effective technical writing and communication skills
ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance REQUIRED.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
Additional certifications and experience in one or more of other NASIC mission areas (OPIR, SAR, EO, TIR, FMV/WAAS, HIS/MSI, GMTI, LIDAR, MASINT, SIGINT, HUMINT and OSINT)
