International Resources Group (IRG), an Engility Company, is recruiting for an Implementation Support Specialist to provide assistance on programs and projects in the Energy and Environmental Management (EEM) Practice Area. Support includes assistance for USAID's Enhancing Capacity for Low Emission Development (E&E EC-LEDS) program, billing support for additional contracts in the EEM Practice Area and business development support activities associated with new business. The Implementation Support Specialist will be expected to provide a wide range of assistance on project activities (70%) and business development activities (30%) involving knowledge of USAID contract processes and procedures, procurement and proposal practices. Duties are expected to include:
Support project management and contract operations;
Manage personnel files and track and monitor consultants' agreements;
Collect data and develop reports for EC-LEDS;
Manage logistics and travel for consultants;
Perform special projects as assigned by the Practice Area Lead;
Work with Project Managers to address rapidly changing customer needs;
Support new business development across the Energy Practice Area.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
At least 4 years of experience in project management support activities, preferably on USAID, World Bank, MCC or other donor programs.
A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting USAID-funded programs.
Customer oriented focus, excellent communication skills, diplomacy and flexibility.
Excellent writing skills.
Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
Experience with USAID projects on Low Emission Development is preferred.
Familiarity with climate change mitigation or environmental management.
