Engility is seeking an Enterprise Architect Program Manager to work in Falls Church, VA.
A qualified candidate with perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
Lead and provide guidance on all aspects of proposals, staffing, and managing application/solution design and implementation programs/projects.
Lead the design and conceptual blueprint that defines the structure and operation of the customer organization. The intent is to determine how the customer organization can most effectively achieve its current and future objectives.
Define and capture customer requirements and map to appropriate levels of the Enterprise Architecture providing gap analysis.
Lead the conceptual definition and design of the Master Data Management (MDM) effort by removing duplicates, standardizing data (mass maintaining), and incorporating rules to eliminate incorrect data from entering the system in order to create an authoritative source of master data.
Lead and provide guidance with service oriented architecture (SOA) design and use, event driven architecture (EDA) design and use, middleware applications and data.
Lead reverse engineering to build current state solution/application architectures.
Lead and provide guidance with all stages of systems development life cycles and industry standards such as RUP, JAD, ASAP, Waterfall, etc.
Lead and provide guidance with systems integration and systems/application maintenance.
Evaluate and rationalize application portfolios for fit for purpose, health, and redundancy.
Lead and facilitate architecture requirements and design with business and IT. Perform IT assessments and building improvement plans/portfolios and be able to convince, guide and advise Chief Executive Officers on moving forward.
Identify gaps in solution architectures and provide recommendations for improvement. Align IT with business models across industry markets and lead re-engineering programs or project streams. Lead diverse project teams including client, advisory, and third-party and across global regions.
Define/architect IT services as they relate to business processes, with an ability to relate IT services in business terms. Build business cases and justify application management and architecture improvements.
Participate in practice building activities, improving internal solution sets, methods and resources. Keep on the leading edge of innovation and trends in application architecture, application management and delivery, and tools and techniques.
Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance is required.
A bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Science, or Operations Management preferred and approximately 5+ years of related work experience; or a Master's degree and approximately 3+ years of related work experience (Master's degree in Computer Science, Operations, or Engineering a plus).
Working knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and JWICS processes.
3+ years of professional services and or consulting experience.
Previous management experience.
Experience leading large and complex solution delivery programs or projects for external clients in at least two areas of architecture (business, information, application, technology, security, governance, etc.).
Analytical and conceptual thinking skills with innovative capacity.
Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity, and provide structure to complex problems.
Strong interaction/communication, presentation, meeting facilitation and teaming skills
