GCC Technologies is looking for Financial Investigative support for an upcoming contract supporting the DEA.
Organizes and conducts detailed examinations of information generated during complex financial criminal/civil investigations and information available through alternative sources for the purpose of conducting financial analyses of personal/business assets of targeted organizations/individuals. Utilizes information obtained as a result of the financial analysis and prepares documentation for use by law enforcement personnel pursuing civil and criminal matters.
◦Support DEA's Office of Diversion Control (ODC) mission, challenges and goals.
◦Analyze financial records obtained by DEA through grand jury, trial, and administrative subpoenas; search warrants, and other investigative and legal processes.
◦Prepare, and assist in the preparation of, reports of investigation, affidavits in support of search or seizure warrants, and other investigative and legal documents to support narcotics, money laundering, and/or other financial, criminal charges against DEA Registrants and others who are targets of investigations by TDS groups, Diversion groups, and other DEA groups engaged in the investigation of the diversion of controlled substances.
◦Provide technical expertise in using various investigative automated systems and other Internet capabilities, to include law enforcement databases, to provide case support to the government in civil and criminal forfeiture matters.
◦Conduct detailed network link analyses, specific to forfeiture, utilizing the results of financial analysis and other investigative techniques, such as Title III surveillance to determine relationships between subjects of the investigation and the events that lead to the forfeiture of property and proceeds.
◦Assist and advise DEA personnel on the forfeiture-related aspects of their investigations. Cases may require travel, extensive consultation with case agent and prosecutor(s), analysis of voluminous business, financial and other records, and complex link analysis of events and records.
◦Assist in the location and repatriation of assets that are subject to forfeiture.
◦Provide courtroom testimony and depositions regarding their investigative analysis and identification of assets derived from specific unlawful activities.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Active Secret level security clearance
Degree: Bachelors Degree
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of criminal investigative experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience specializing in financial investigations. A working knowledge of current financial investigation techniques, including the use of commercial databases and other sources of information.
