Manages T&E and software development project operations and ensures production schedules are met for test and evaluation of radiological and nuclear detection systems. Ensures resources are used effectively. Applies T&E understanding to solve difficult problems involving T&E of detection equipment against multiple operational and technical requirements. Applies staffing skill for T&E support and test operations. Coordinates the resolution of problems within the system engineering team, with government customers, and components. Ensures the proper relationships are established and optimized between customers, teaming partners, and other contractors to facilitate delivery of services. Supervises all contractor staff, including prime and any subcontractors. Supervises subject matter experts in science and engineering disciplines to apply proper and tailored solutions to T&E problems. Determines strong technical solutions and proposes them to the government and exceeds expectations in execution.
Education: Must have a Bachelor's degree and 10 years' experience. A math, science, or engineering degree is preferred.
Experience: Must possess 7 years' experience in test and evaluation and system engineering. Must understand system engineering life cycle development of end items, test and evaluation operations, and software development.
Strong written and verbal communications a must.
Strong personnel skills and demonstrated leadership a must.
10 years of T&E experience is preferred.
7 years' experience in leading and managing organizations is preferred.
ITEA certification a plus.
Prefer a candidate with a previous Agile software development experience and/or supervision.
