IAI is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Radar Signature Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer in Beavercreek, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing radar signatures of aerospace systems using computational electromagnetic (CEM) prediction codes. The engineer will develop radar signature products that may include RCS, High Range Resolution (HRR), SAR, and scattering center data. As part of the signature development process, the engineer will design, model, and perform simulations using various CAD applications and CEM codes. This position will require working as part of a team comprised of military, government, and other contractors to produce validated products that are applied to solve problems of interest. The qualified candidate must also be able to work independently and have effective writing and verbal skills.
* BS in Engineering or a technically related field and 5 years of related experience. (Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree). * Specific knowledge of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center is highly desired. * Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams are also required. * Solid understanding of electromagnetics and computational electromagnetics (CEM) desired. Experience with Linux, Matlab, Xpatch, and SAF is a plus. * Solid understanding of signal processing techniques for solving new problems.
