IAI is currently seeking a Senior Software/Systems Engineer. The candidate will provide direct support to the customer by working with agency processes to support, maintain, and upgrade operational support elements within the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) in Beavercreek Ohio. It is imperative that operations continue in this environment; qualified candidates will be able to work closely with the customer, understand their operations and needs, and work around customer operations. This is a dynamic mission focused contract supporting the Intel community.
Specific Tasks Include:
* Support the assessment, maintenance, upgrade and testing of tools and processes that are both currently used within the environment and those being tested for later inclusion. * Contribute to developing products for redesigning and/or improving existing business processes * Support updated operating model adoption * Validate and support the adjustment of the operating model and associated tools.
* M.S. Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering * Minimum 20 years' experience in information technology operations to include software development, systems engineering, and systems integration * Support the operating frameworks and organizational structures development for enterprise service delivery and sustainment * Must have excellent written communication skills to develop CONOPS and other project deliverables * Understanding of the integrated intelligence mission and its contributions to the Intelligence Community * Self-directed and capable of collecting and analyzing data and rendering recommendations * Ability and willingness to share knowledge * Detail-oriented, with proven time management and organization skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards) * Be a positive role model and have the ability to work independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels * Individual thinker with the ability to identify and drive new/uncharted solutions within the organization * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work with matrix partners without direct supervision and ability to work in a matrix environment
