Perception IR Special Services (PIR) is a Veterans Administration Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business founded in July, 2009. Perception's key company personnel have extensive experience within the defense consulting industry and have advised numerous General Officers and Senior Executive Service personnel. Key company personnel have decades of Tier One Special Operations experience, many of which were years spent in combat. Additionally, those key personnel have years of experience acting as former SOF advisors to the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) in both combat and training environments.

Perception's capabilities include: communications, explosives testing, explosives training, weapons training, tactics training, security operations, logistics, research and development, and Special Operations tactics, techniques and procedures.
