Metropolitan Interpreters and Translators, Inc. provides multi-language assistance and forensic linguistics to law enforcement agencies worldwide. Established in 1990 as a contractor to the United States Government, Metropolitan has become a major provider of foreign language resources to the U.S Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Supplying cleared linguists for wiretaps is a large part of the service that Metropolitan provides to law enforcement agencies. In addition to foreign language assistance, Metropolitan provides monitoring and transcribing services in support of Title III investigations.
