The successful Systems Engineer candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems; analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal; ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; and performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Sciences and Technology and at least five (5) year of experience as a System Engineer TS/SCI with poly required
Preferred Qualifications:
* A successful candidate will have experience with rapid prototyping methods, Apple Macintosh, COTS, UNIX, and wide area and local area network technologies to include TCP/IP, Ethernet, and DoD standard network/communication protocols.
