Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Systems Requirements Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Columbia, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Cyber Intelligence Division/Essex business unit - A market leader which innovates a culture of creativity, investment, and teamwork to solve the Intelligence Community's toughest problems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced self-directed Sr. Systems Requirements Engineer with strong communication and engineering skills. This individual is expected to become knowledgeable about the current and planned products. The individual will interface with Government Customers, Product Owners, Integration Partners, and the product development Team. The Sr. Systems Requirements Engineer shall assist with requirements definition, top level functional designs, and is expected to interact with all stakeholders in a highly effective manner. In addition, the systems engineer will work with the Project Lead to effectively manage cost, schedule, and performance factors.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics and 9 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of BS degree and an additional 2 years for MS degree.
* Experience with Requirements Development and Management, System Architecture and System Integration is required
* DOORS
* Understanding of Software Development life-cycles
* Intelligence Community Experience
* Must have a current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Cloud Experience
* Understanding of Agile Development environment
* Understanding of Java
