The Software Engineer will design, develop, documents, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Additionally, the successful candidate will onduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with architects and engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Additionaly duties include determining computer user needs; analyzig system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; preparing operating instructions; designing and developing compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related software-related discipline froman accredited college or university. Six years of directly applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement. At least 2 years of JavaScript, Java, Struts, and HTML/XML is required. Strong verbal/written communication along with the abiltity to work well with a team. US Citizenship is required in order to obtain and maintain required DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Web programming experience with Experience with GCCS or Intel systems. Experience in Mobile Application/Mobile Web Application development, with an emphasis on UI design/usability a plus. Experience with a J2EE Application server such as WebLogic, Websphere, JBOSS Experience with Unix, ANT, SQL, PERL, J2EE and relational databases such as Sybase or Oracle. Experience with automated test frameworks and JUnit.
