The candidate will perform as a Java software engineer/tester on a development team which utilizes a diverse, dynamic workforce, including many experts in their fields. Specific duties include: -Developing Java code under leadership of expert Software Engineer - Adhering to accepted standards for software development; including assisting with writing unit tests, participating in peer code reviews, participating in design reviews, and assisting with generating test plans to ensure maximum stability and quality of code - Interface and work with many different testers - Augment the test team to provide integration testing for cyber and realms releases - Work user issues that current mission team cannot solve - Candidate must have good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree plus minimum two years experience in full life cycle Software Engineering environment
* 1+ year of experience with Java development
* Familiarity with Linux
