| This position involves participating involves direct program support for NAVSEA PMS 400F AEGIS Program Office and involves providing Navy Training and Manpower analysis and MPT product developmentTypical analyses / tasking required by this position include:- Conduct analyses to determine the MPT impacts of proposed improvements/alterations (including SHIPALTS, ORDALTS, ECPs, etc.)- Determine new manpower requirements for planned ship alterations for AEGIS Modernization.- Develop Modernization Availability MPT Plans for AEGIS Modernization Program.- Determine training requirements for new equipment/system upgrades and develop training strategies for new/updated training.- Investigate training problems raised by the Fleet and the ships support community and developing recommendations/alternatives to resolve the problem(s)- Review and provide comments of draft Front-End Analysis (FEA) and preliminary System Navy Training System Plan (NTSP) reports, including validating the MPT findings and recommendations based on the merits.Required Experience: Bachelors Degree and 5+ years training experience. 5-10 years of experience are preferred and relevant experience can substitute in lieu of a degree.AEGIS Combat Systems experience required. Former Naval Instructor in AEGIS Combat Systems a PLUS.Successful candidates will have completed a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information which requires US citizenship.Clearance Level Required at Start Date SecretMinimum Education Requirements BS/BA Degree or EquivalentPercent of Travel Required Less than 25% |
