Individuals collect and analyze event information and perform threat or target analysis duties. Provides operations for persistent monitoring on a 24/7 basis of all designated networks, enclaves, and systems. Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with Computer Network directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events. Manages and executes first-level responses and addresses reported or detected incidents. Reports to and coordinates with external organizations and authorities. Coordinates and distributes directives, vulnerability, and threat advisories to identified consumers. Provides daily summary reports of network events and activities and delivers metric reports.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Typically the ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree with 5 years experience or 9 years in lieu of degree.
-Security+ certification -Formal school training in data communications, networks and systems -Must have a TS/SCI clearance to be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years experience working directly with USMC Network/System Certification & Accreditation packages, including significant experience using XACTA.
-Minimum 3 years within the last 5 years hands-on experience working with USMC garrison data communications networks and systems -CISSP or CISM certification -CCNA or higher certification -MCSE or MCITP certification -2 or more years experience working as an IAM, IAO or equivalent -College degree in a computer science related field
