Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer and operational product requirements into total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis and operational user-based, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Perform requirements engineering and maintenance. Candidate should work with general direction.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* M.S. or B.S. and 2+ years experience in Engineering, or related technical field. Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters. 6 years of related experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
* US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS).
* Experience building ops-based use cases and user stories.
* Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as DoDAF, DOORS, etc.
* Experience with SCRUM agile software development.
* Systems engineering experience and knowledge of software developed in C#, C++, C and/or Java programming language with emphasis on object-oriented software development.
* Experience with software estimation such as SEER-SEM.
* Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or ability to reinstate them).
