Northrop Grumman Information Systems is seeking a Military Trainer. This position is located in Landover, MD. Training personnel shall: Train all system users, specifically - System Administrators, Security Managers, Site Chiefs, System Security Administrators, and Deployable users. The selected individual will also provide a classroom environment, equipment, and software ready for the trainees; maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the system. Additionally, he/she will keep all training course materials, practical exercises and examinations current, and ensure the training software suite reflects the current fielded configuration. Develop new courses in response to Government tasking. Must have experience in the following: computer workstations operating in a network environment; computer based training techniques. Must be cognizant of computer based and training techniques, and be capable of relating technical data to non-technical mid-level military officers and DOD civilians.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Must have a Bachelors degree with 6 years of experience, or 4 years with a Masters
* Must have an active TS/SCI with poly
* Candidate will have experience in computer workstations
* Familiar with Apple, Microsoft products, and SUN products and office automation software
* Must have demonstrated comprehensive organizational, oral, and written communication skills
* Must be Fluent with a variety of teaching methods including computer based training.
* Needs the ability to apply Software and Hardware basic troubleshooting skills Preferred Skills:
* Formal, practical and successful experience training adults in the operation of computer hardware and software
