POSITION SUMMARY:
SEGUE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. SEEKS A .NET DEVELOPER to provide hands-on technical expertise for the customer. The job will require working in a team environment with clients, requirements analysts and SMEs to understand requirements, perform technical analysis and design, document software design and architecture, write code, perform unit and integration testing, deploy solutions to various environments and perform defect fixes as required.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
• Technical software requirements analysis
• Software architecture & design
• ASP.Net & VB.NET front and back-end development
• Unit and integration testing
• Source code and technical approach documentation
• Conduct code reviews and other team improvement activities
• Follow industry standard development best practices throughout the full software development lifecycle
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required Skills:
• 3+ years ASP/VB/.NET Development
• 5+ years of general programming experience
• MS SQL server, SQL and stored procedures
• Familiarity with development best-practices and full SDLC
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
• Software design using UML or other formal modeling framework
• Experience utilizing JQuery to handle form data
• Experience with Linq to SQL
