SUMMARY: Administration and maintenance of all production and other mission critical technology resources; troubleshoot and repair network problems
PURPOSE AND MISSION:
• Implement hardware and software upgrades, system integrations, vendor-based solutions, and other datacenter optimizations
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
• Maintain relevant and current knowledge within assigned technical fields
• Must have the ability to work after-hours and rotating on-call shifts of 12 hours; 4 days on and 4 days off
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• BSCS or related years of experience
• Must have CCNP certification; MCSE a plus
• 5+ years of progressive work experience
• Tier 2 and 3 level support experience
• Must demonstrate strength in the operation and behavior of static and dynamic routing protocols such as RIPv2, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS and BGP
• Strength in IP Telephony, VoIP and IP Video Teleconferencing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Travel up to 5% internationally
• UNIX, Linux and Windows server administration experience preferred
• Knowledge of iDirect and/or Vipersat systems a plus
