The position that Semantic Research is offering is based out of the Washington D.C. Metro area.
The Engineer will join our Semantica engineering team and be a key contributor to the evolution of our product and assist with customization and deployment at customer sites. He/She will participate in all facets of the software life cycle and should be ready to tackle any job that takes our products forward. Candidates will apply software engineering methodologies to analyze, design, implement, test and document custom applications in a fast paced work environment.
He/She will:
• Quickly adapt to any new technology necessary to create innovative solutions.
• Be able to work with light direction.
• Interact with customers, partners, senior management and other team members professionally, in writing, in person, and virtually, as necessary.
•Secret security clearance (TS/SCI Preferred)
The job requirements are straightforward: we expect you to have real world Java development experience. You should be comfortable with data modeling, integration and visualization technologies. These positions value and take advantage of broad based experience and interests ranging from large scale data and event processing to applied graph theory. No one person can master all of these domains, so we depend highly on individual initiative to continually learn, explore and push the envelope. |
