Our client, the 7th largest IT services provider in the world, requires a Life Cycle Management practitioner experienced in developing, adapting, and implementing software life cycle management frameworks at the enterprise level for a Federal Government Client. The potential candidate will have excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills along with experience in implementing software life cycle models. He/she should be knowledgeable in various life cycle models such as Waterfall, Spiral, Incremental, and Agile with specific in-depth knowledge and experience with Unified Process (UP), Rational Unified Process (RUP), or Open Unified Process (OpenUP) and provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance and assistance in the organizations' transition to the new life cycle model.
The expectation of this practitioner will be to pull together the various parts of the life cycle model that are being produced by our Technical Assessment Team and harmonize them into a single life cycle product that incorporates the UP/RUP/OpenUP within the enterprise. This includes ensuring that ULCM Practice Areas (disciplines), Tasks, Roles, Work Products, and Phases align and logically flow from start to finish. The practitioner will be responsible for developing a transition plan and training materials to support the new ULCM and to present briefings and training the customer and staff as needed.
MUST HAVES:
1. Solid experience and proven success in developing, adapting and implementing Enterprise level SDLC management frameworks for a federal government customer
2. Proven success in providing guidance, developing a transition plan and providing training materials, presenting briefings and training to the customer and staff to support the new ULCM
3. Experience in re-building an SDLC process of what is expected from start to finish
4. Knowledgeable in various SDLC models such as Waterfall, Spiral, Incremental and Agile
5. In-depth knowledge and experience with Unified Process (UP), Rational Unified Process (RUP), or Open Unified Process (OpenUP)
6. Active Top Secret Clearance
NICE TO HAVES:
1. 5+ or more years of experience in providing SDLC SME services
2. Experience developing, adapting and implementing 5 or more Enterprise level SDLC management framework projects for federal customers |
